Researcher in Biochemistry at UniCamillus – International University of Health and Medical Sciences, and Licensed Chemist with a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. My scientific focus is deeply rooted in advanced biochemistry and biomaterials. A cornerstone of my research involves investigating the biochemical role of slow-releasing hydrogen sulfide donors to optimize 3D stem cell systems, for applications in tissue repair and in cancer therapy. Building on a strong academic background in Chemical Sciences (B.Sc. and M.Sc. cum laude at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata"), the PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and my previous work within the PNRR-funded "HEAL ITALIA" project, I specialize in designing innovative protein-based hydrogels, 3D cell micro-systems, and in vitro tumor models. I am passionate about bridging fundamental biochemistry and biomedical applications, leveraging mechanobiology and novel biomaterials to advance 3D cell culture with potential application in regenerative medicine and oncology.
