Maria Clara Neves Cabral da Silva Moreira Viegas. Completed her PhD in Exact and Natural Sciences and Technology in 2010 at Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, her master’s in Mechanical Engineering in 1998 at Universidade do Porto - Faculdade de Engenharia and her degree in Physics/Applied Maths in 1991 at Universidade do Porto - Faculdade de Ciências. Currently she is Adjunct Teacher in Instituto Politécnico do Porto Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, Full Researcher in CIETI at Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (P.Porto) and Co-director of the degree Licenciatura Engenharia Biomédica in Instituto Politécnico do Porto Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto. She has published 25 articles in journals, 21 book chapters, 1 book and 54 conference papers. She has co-organized 5 international events. She has served as arguer and main arguer in 7 PhD Jury, as Track Chair at various International Conferences and as guest editor of Special Issues in research journals. Works in the area of Engineering Education with emphasis on Physical Sciences.
