FIELD OF ACTIVITY
Hana is currently the Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Economics, VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava in Czech Republic. She graduated with PhD in Business Administration and Management at the same faculty in 2009. She has 15 years’ experience in consulting for companies. She deals with business management issues and strategic management. In particular, she focuses on small and medium-sized enterprises in terms of competitiveness and sustainable growth. She also focuses on quality management, counseling, start-up business and on business approaches and methods. Especially SMEs, their competitiveness, quality management and sustainable business including the Industry 4.0 problematics.
She is involved in the solution of Industry 4.0 within the Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Crafts CZ, especially in the project The year of digitization of small and medium-sized enterprises.
