Prof. Dr. Zhenfeng Xu is currently the deputy dean of the Forestry College of Sichuan Agricultural University. He received a Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences from Sichuan Agricultural University in 2005 and obtained a D.Sc. from the Institute of Biology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2008. Additionally, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Quebec in Montreal in 2017. He is also an editorial board member of the Journal of Applied and Environmental Biology. Furthermore, his research topics mainly include global change and the underground material cycle and characteristics of the root systems of mountain forest trees.
