Cheng Chen received a B.S. degree in geoscience from Central South University, Changsha, China, in 2011; an M.S. degree in geoscience and remote sensing from the Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 2014; and a Ph.D. degree in atmospheric physics from the University of Lille, Villeneuve d’Ascq, France, in 2018. He was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Laboratoire d’Optique Atmosphérique, CNRS, University of Lille. Since 2019, he has been a Scientific Researcher at GRASP-SAS, University of Lille. His research interests include the satellite remote sensing of atmospheric aerosols, emission inventory, chemistry transport models, and inverse modeling.
