Marcos Portabella received the BSc degree in Physics from the University of Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain, in 1994, the MSc degree in Remote Sensing from the Institute for Space Studies of Catalonia, Barcelona, in 1995, and the PhD degree in Physics from the University of Barcelona, Barcelona, in 2002. He is currently with the Institut de Ciències del Mar, Barcelona, where he is involved in satellite remote sensing, and particularly, scatterometry and L-band radiometry.
