Professor Chen Jun is currently a Chief Professor at the School of Transportation, Southeast University, China, and previously served as the Dean of the School of Transportation. He has been honored with the prestigious title of "National Distinguished Teacher" in China. His research spans a wide range of fields, including parking facility planning and management, intelligent urban traffic control, and integrated optimization of transportation systems. Professor Chen holds the position of Chairman of the Engineering Department at the World Transportation Conference (WTC) under the Ministry of Transport, and is a member of the Expert Committee of the China Urban Transportation Planning Academic Committee. He has led 12 key national projects, among which are initiatives supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. To date, he has authored 7 academic monographs and published over 100 internationally peer-reviewed papers in leading journals such as Sustainable Cities and Society and Transportation Research Part F: Traffic Psychology and Behaviour. In addition, Professor Chen holds 20 authorized national invention patents and has developed 5 software systems with independent intellectual property rights
