Jacek Gębicki received his Ph.D. in chemical technology from the Gdańsk University of Technology in 2008. In 2009, he was appointed as assistant professor of Chemical and Process Engineering at the Gdańsk University of Technology. In 2016, he obtained his degree of habilitated doctor in technical sciences. He has been an associate professor since 2017. Since 2018, he has been the Head of the Department of Process Engineering and Chemical Technology. His research interests include Electrochemical Gas Sensors for Air Monitoring, Sensory Arrays, Electronic and Bioelectric Noses, Chemical Sensors, Monitoring of Air Pollution, Air Pollution Control Systems, Green Deodorization Methods, Biogas Purification, Biofiltration, Ionic Liquids, Deep Eutectic Solvents, Low-Cost Air Pollution Monitoring Systems and Catalysts.
