Jae Young Bae is a professor in the School of Department of Chemistry at Keimyung university, Daegu, Republic of Korea. He received his Ph.D. at Osaka City University in 1998. Before joining Keimyung university in 2006, he was a senior researcher at Samsung Electro-Mechanics (2004-2006), a research professor in the school of Department of Materials Science and Engineering at KAIST (2001-2004), and a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Houston (1999-2001). His current research includes nanoparticles of silica and titania and organic-inorganic hybrid materials for functional electronic materials.
