Davor Bonefačić received his Dipl.Ing., Mr.Sc., and Dr.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER), Zagreb, Croatia, in 1993, 1996, and 2000, respectively. In 1993, he joined the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb. Today he is Full Professor at the same faculty. His research interests are in the field of small and integrated antennas, textile antennas and waveguiding structures, and on-body communications. His professional activities are in the field of EMC, EMI estimation and suppression, EM field measurement, and estimation of human exposure to EM fields. He is a senior member of IEEE and member of the Croatian Academy of Engineering (HATZ). He received the silver plaque "J. Lončar" from FER in 1996, the "Rikard Podhorsky" award from HATZ for excellence in scientific and professional achievements in 2009, and the Award for outstanding contribution to IEEE Croatia Section in 2020.
