Vittorio Capozzi is currently a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Sciences of Food Production. He completed his PhD in biotechnologies of food products at the University of Foggia in 2008. His research interests include Food microbiology, wine microbiology, functional foods, probiotics, molecular microbiology, lactic acid bacteria, yeasts, spoilage microbes, and pathogens. He has 141 publications with 5397 citations and an h-index of 45 (Scopus, 27 October 2023).
