Prof. Dr. Dimitrios C Ziogas

Dimitrios Ziogas MD, PhD is an Academic Scholar in the First Department of Internal Medicine of Laikon General Hospital of Athens. He earned his MD degree from the Medical School of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, his PhD degree from the Medical School of University of Thessaly and he completed his post-doc position in the Department of Gastroenterology of the Harvard-affiliated Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. His areas of expertise include colon cancer, melanoma, immunotherapy and targeted therapies. He participated as a Sub-Investigator in many clinical trials. Dr Ziogas has published 90 scientific papers in peer-reviewed international medical journals with a citation count of 2764 (Google Scholar).
