Anna Christakou is an Associate Professor (full-time job) in the Department of Physiotherapy at the University of Peloponnese. She was a physiotherapist at Evagelismos General Hospital in Athens for more than 10 years. She also has a Bachelor's degree from the School of Sport Sciences and Physical Education, University of Athens, Greece. She is currently finishing her 2nd PhD. She is involved in research and teaching of physiotherapy in musculoskeletal, ICU, geriatric populations, and neurodegenerative diseases. Anna Christakou is a Coordinator in the Scientific Subgroup Respiratory and Cardiovascular Physiotherapy-Rehabilitation, Panhellenic Physiotherapy Association and Vice President of the Executive Committee of the ICCrPT Subgroup of World Physiotherapy Organization. She has been a member of Research programs in Athens Medical School.
