Han Kaihang, Doctor of Engineering, Assistant professor/Associate researcher, master supervisor, Deputy Director of Urban Underground Space Research Center of Future Underground City Research Institute. Doctor of Beijing Jiaotong University (Supervisor: Academician Wang Mengshu), postdoctoral fellow of UCLA (supervisor: Professor Jiann-Wen Woody Ju). Director of Underground Space Branch of Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, National Natural Science Foundation review expert, Shenzhen Pengcheng Peacock Project Class C. His main research interests include safety control theory and technology of urban tunnel and underground engineering construction, intelligent sensing and self-healing materials of underground engineering, and toughness evaluation and improvement theory of underground engineering clusters in megacities. He has presided over sub-projects of key R&D programs of the Ministry of Science and Technology, youth projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, and major projects of China Power Construction Group Co., LTD., and participated in research for major projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, major strategic consulting projects of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and key R&D programs of the Ministry of Science and Technology as a backbone member. He has published more than 40 papers in SCI and EI journals at home and abroad, including more than 20 papers in SCI journals.
