Byung Kyu Park received his Ph.D. in 1994 from Seoul National University. Since earning his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1983 from SNU, he has worked for a national institute and university in Korea. He has gained R&D experience at the Korea Institute of Construction Technology (KICT) and the Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials (KIMM) in the fields of thermal and fluid engineering. As a result, he has gained extensive experience in various applications, including building technology, thermal energy systems, gas turbines, HVAC&R, supercritical foaming, and the application and control of MEMS devices. He is currently a Principal Investigator for the development of superinsulators and the application of artificial intelligence. He is also a research professor at IAMD, Seoul National University, and a member of KSME, KSPE, and SAREK.
