Yimin Chao obtained his Ph.D. in Nanoscience from Newcastle University in 2004. He held his postdoctoral research fellowship at the Wolfson Chemical Nanoscience Center in Newcastle between 2004 and 2007. Currently, he is working as an Associate Professor in Nanoscience at the School of Chemistry, University of East Anglia. His research interest focuses on investigating nanostructured systems, from the basic physical and chemical mechanisms of synthesis, through their optical and electronic properties to energy conversion, energy storage and biomedical applications.

Short Biography
Yimin Chao obtained his Ph.D. in Nanoscience from Newcastle University in 2004.
