Dr. Anoop Narayanan V. is an Associate Professor at NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nitte (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences and has over 16 years of experience in pharmaceutical research. His core expertise is formulation development and translational nanopharmaceutics, including liposomes, bilosomes, phytosomes, stimuli-responsive in situ gels and polymer-lipid hybrid nanocarriers for cancer, glioblastoma and neurological disorders, with in silico studies undertaken through collaborations. He has authored 60 publications and is a named inventor on two granted Indian patents assigned to Nitte (Deemed to be University): an ipriflavone nanoemulsion for osteoporosis (No. 545999) and dual-technology oral fast-dissolving levodopa films for dysphagic Parkinson's patients (No. 545103). He has guided postgraduate research for over 14 years and mentored Ph.D. scholars for over 7 years. He is the founder of VSOLV Research, an MSME-registered consulting firm offering intellectual property and Quality-by-Design-based strategies to biotechnology start-ups. He is a certified NSQF Level 5 trainer (Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India), a member of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association and a 2026 APTI award recipient.
