Isabel Seiquer has a Ph.D from Granada University (Spain) with a professional experience of more than 30 years dedicated to the study of different topics in the areas of nutrition and food science and technology. She is senior researcher from the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and her research has been mainly linked to mineral metabolism, both macro minerals and trace elements, and aspects related to oxidative stress, using in vitro, ex vivo (cell culture) techniques, and in vivo assays.
