Dawid Myszka is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Warsaw University of Technology. His scientific work focuses on the microstructure design of cast and wrought alloys, particularly austempered ductile iron (ADI), advanced bainitic steels, and hybrid nanostructured materials for high-performance applications. His research explores the mechanisms of deformation induced transformations, phase kinetics during austempering, and structure - property relationships in heat treated ferrous alloys. He develops innovative processing routes that combine casting, thermomechanical treatment, and surface engineering to achieve superior wear, fatigue, and corrosion resistance. His studies integrate experimental methods: light and electron microscopy, dilatometry, and EBSD with numerical modeling to understand transformation behavior and optimize alloy performance. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters, including contributions to Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A, Materials, and Springer monographs. His work bridges fundamental metallurgical phenomena and applied engineering, supporting the development of next generation structural materials for energy, transport, and manufacturing industries.
