Jiawang Chen is currently a professor at Donghai Laboratory. He graduated from Jilin University in 2007, majoring in geological engineering, and received a doctorate in engineering. He worked at the Mechanical Engineering Postdoctoral Mobile Station of the State Key Laboratory of Fluid Transmission and Control of Zhejiang University from 2007 to 2009, majoring in mechanical and electrical engineering. He was assistant to the president of Zhejiang Ocean Development Research Institute from 2010 to 2011. He is a senior member of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and a member of MTS, IEEE, and ISOPE.
