Andreas Chrysanthou is a Professor in Materials Engineering at the School of Engineering and Technology, University of Hertfordshire. After completing his Bachelor’s and PhD studies (on new synthesis routes for carbides) at Imperial College, he held lectureship posts at Nottingham and Surrey before joining the University of Hertfordshire in 1996. He set up and has been leading the Materials and Structures Research group since 1998. His main research expertise lies in the processing of materials.
