(1) Background: As people pay more attention to health, mobile health applications (mHealth apps) are becoming popular. These apps offer health services that run on mobile devices to help improve users’ health behaviors. However, few studies explore what motivates users to continue to use these apps. This study proposes antecedents influencing users’ electronic satisfaction (e-satisfaction) and their continued behaviors of using mHealth apps. Based on the extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2), this study constructs a research model including perceived reliability and online review to predict the continued usage behavior on mHealth apps in China; (2) Methods: We conduct an online survey to collect data from participants who have used mHealth apps. This study receives 327 valid responses and tests the research model using the partial least squares structural equation model approach; (3) Results: Our results find that antecedents positively affect continued usage intention through the mediation role of e-satisfaction with mHealth apps. Interestingly, this study reveals that habit positively affects the continued usage behavior and moderates the effect of e-satisfaction and continued intention of using mHealth apps; (4) Conclusions: This study presents theoretical implications on the extended UTAUT2 and provides practical implications understanding of managing mHealth apps in China.

In respect to the multi-attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems in which the evaluated value of each attribute is in the form of q-rung orthopair fuzzy numbers (q-ROFNs), a new approach of MAGDM is developed. Firstly, a new aggregation operator, called the partitioned Maclaurin symmetric mean (PMSM) operator, is proposed to deal with the situations where the attributes are partitioned into different parts and there are interrelationships among multiple attributes in same part whereas the attributes in different parts are not related. Some desirable properties of PMSM are investigated. Then, in order to aggregate the q-rung orthopair fuzzy information, the PMSM is extended to q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets (q-ROFSs) and two q-rung orthopair fuzzy partitioned Maclaurin symmetric mean (q-ROFPMSM) operators are developed. To eliminate the negative influence of unreasonable evaluation values of attributes on aggregated result, we further propose two q-rung orthopair fuzzy power partitioned Maclaurin symmetric mean (q-ROFPPMSM) operators, which combine the PMSM with the power average (PA) operator within q-ROFSs. Finally, a numerical instance is provided to illustrate the proposed approach and a comparative analysis is conducted to demonstrate the advantage of the proposed approach.

This article investigates the feasibility of applying the broad learning system (BLS) to realize a novel Takagi–Sugeno–Kang (TSK) neuro-fuzzy model, namely a broad learning based dynamic fuzzy inference system (BL-DFIS). It not only improves the accuracy and interpretability of neuro-fuzzy models but also solves the challenging problem that models are incapable of determining the optimal architecture autonomously. BL-DFIS first accomplishes a TSK fuzzy system under the framework of BLS, in which an extreme learning machine auto-encoder is employed to obtain feature representation in a fast and analytical way, and an interpretable linguistic fuzzy rule is integrated into the enhancement node to ensure the high interpretability of the system. Meanwhile, the extended-enhancement unit is designed to achieve the first-order TSK fuzzy system. In addition, a dynamic incremental learning algorithm with internal pruning and updating mechanism is developed for the learning of BL-DFIS, which enables the system to automatically assemble the optimal structure to obtain a compact rule base and an excellent classification performance. Experiments on benchmark datasets demonstrate that the proposed BL-DFIS can achieve a better classification performance than some state-of-the-art nonfuzzy and neuro-fuzzy methods, simultaneously using the most parsimonious model structure.

Train running performance is largely depended on the controller. In order to improve the controller performance of speed profile tracking, an adaptive control method for subway trains is addressed in this paper. Considered time-varying parameters of train motion, the train model with dynamic parameters is constructed. The model free adaptive controller combined with neural network and proportional integral-derivative (PID) algorithm is proposed to realize adaptive control. The control laws and parameter tuning laws of the proposed controller are both illustrated, and PID gain range and actuator saturation are taken into consideration. Compared with other controllers, numerical tests are provided to verify the effectiveness and stability of the proposed controller. The controller is also applied on a real line, and the results show that the proposed controller outperforms the currently used controller. More specifically, the proposed controller reduces average running time error 0.67 s, average stopping position error 0.09 m, average maximum speed tracking error 1.22 m/s, and total energy consumption 2.73 kWh.

Classification is essential to the applications in the field of data mining, artificial intelligence, and fault detection. There exists a strong need in developing accurate, suitable, and efficient classification methods and algorithms with broad applicability. Random forest is a general algorithm that is often used for classification under complex conditions. Although it has been widely adopted, its combination with diverse fuzzy theory is still worth exploring. In this paper, we propose the intuitionistic fuzzy random forest (IFRF), a new random forest ensemble of intuitionistic fuzzy decision trees (IFDT). Such trees in forest use intuitionistic fuzzy information gain to select features and consider hesitation in information transmission. The proposed method enjoys the power of the randomness from bootstrapped sampling and feature selection, the flexibility of fuzzy logic and fuzzy sets, and the robustness of multiple classifier systems. Extensive experiments demonstrate that the IFRF has competitive and superior performance compared to other state-of-the-art fuzzy and ensemble algorithms. IFDT is more suitable for ensemble learning with outstanding classification accuracy. This study is the first to propose a random forest ensemble based on the intuitionistic fuzzy theory.
