Dr. Jing Xu is an Associate Professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology. She received her PhD degree in Physical Electronics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 2015 in China and worked as a research fellow at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore in 2016. Her research interests are centered on the solid-state batteries, sodium-ion batteries, and integrated multifunctional nanosystems for energy conversion and storage. Till now, she has published more than 60 SCI-index papers, including many high impact journals, e. g. Chemical Society Reviews, Advanced Materials, ACS Nano, Advanced Functional Materials, Nano energy, et al., which have been cited more than 6500 times (H-index of 38). Now she is in charge of some projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China and Jiangsu Province, and Ministry of Science and Technology of China. Recently, she has got the six Talent Peaks Project of Jiangsu Province and the third prize of Jiangsu province science and technology progress award. Since she joined in NJUST in 2016, she worked with the other Chinese members of this project and they built the research group-Nano Energy Materials (NEM, http://nem.smse-njust.com). The NEM group concentrates on the research of all-solid-state thin-film batteries, Li/Na ion batteries, and supercapacitors.
