Abdul-Sahib T. Al-Madhhachi is a professor in the Water Resources Engineering Department, College of Engineering, Mustansiriyah University, Baghdad, Iraq. He received his Ph.D. from the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, Oklahoma State University, USA, in 2012. His research interests are in the detachment rate model, the jet erosion test, the erodibility of polluted soils, seepage erosion, watershed assessment, and streambank stability. He has over 45 publications in refereed journals and conference proceedings. He is a reviewer for several high scientific journals, such as the Journal of Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, ASCE, the Journal of Hydrologic Engineering, ASCE, the Journal of Hydraulic Engineering, ASCE, Hydrology, Water, Ecological Engineering, and Soil and Water Division, ASABE. He is a professional member of several journals, such as the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, and the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research. He is also part of the membership committee of the NRES-21 Hydrology Technical Committee.
