Faisal Abdulaziz Alfouzan received a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the University of Hail, Hail, Saudi Arabia, in 2007, an M.Sc. degree in Network Security from Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow, U.K., in 2014, and a Ph.D. degree in the Department of Cyber Security and Networks at the School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment from Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow, UK in 2019. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the College of Criminal Justice, Department of Forensic Sciences, Director of the Cyber Security Department at Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS), and Advisor to the General Administration for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. His current research interests include underwater sensor networks, designing Medium Access Control (MAC) protocols and distributed systems, routing protocols with void-handling techniques, Smart Cities and Distributed Systems, Learning Machine (LM), Cybersecurity Operations, Artificial Intelligent (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT), Digital Forensics, and Blockchain. He has served as a reviewer for more than 15 academic journals. He is a member of IEEE and IEEE Computer Society and VTS. Dr. AlFouzan is also an Editorial Member of the “Journal of Information Security and Cybercrimes Research” (JISCR).
