Riki Toita received his Ph.D. degree from the Graduate School of Systems Life Sciences, Kyushu University in 2011. He is currently working as a Chief Senior Researcher at the Biomedical Research Institute, Department of Life Science and Biotechnology, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). He was a recipient of the 15th Young Scientist Awards from the Japanese Society of Drug Delivery System in 2023. His scientific output includes 74 publications, corresponding to 1162 citations (h-index 21) (Scopus, 19 October 2023).
