Prof. Dr. Zao Yi received a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry from Jishou University in 2007. He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Condensed Matter Physics from Central South University in 2010 and 2014, respectively. He was the recipient of the Doctoral Academic Newcomer Award of the Ministry of Education in 2012. Since 2014, he has been at Southwest University of Science and Technology, where he is currently an Associate Professor of Applied Physics. His research covers a wide variety of design topics, including basic research on the application and preparation of micro-nano optics, and functional nanomaterials.
