Muhammad Rabnawaz has been an assistant professor at the School of Packaging since 2016. He obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry (polymers) in 2013 from Queen's University, Kingston (Canada) under the supervision of Professor Guojun Liu. Dr. Rabnawaz worked as a postdoctoral fellow with Prof. Damien Guironnet in 2015–2016 at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign (USA), in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. He has published more than 40 research articles and several patents in the field of polymer and materials sciences. His research interests include (1) polymer synthesis from renewable feedstock, (2) the design and preparation of smart materials, and (3) polymer coatings.
