Enrico Cagno is a Full Professor at the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering, Politecnico di Milano. He holds the courses of ‘Sustainability of Industrial Systems’ (PhD) and ‘Design & Management of Production Systems’ (MSc) at the School of Industrial and Information Engineering. His primary interests are industrial sustainability and risk analysis and management, with a particular focus on small- and medium-sized enterprises. He has authored more than 390 publications between journals, books, book chapters, and proceedings. He serves as associ- ate editor and as a member of the editorial board and a regular referee for several international peer- reviewed journals. He has promoted, coordinated, managed, and participated in a number of research and consultancy projects. He has worked as con- sultant in different projects, ranging from stra- tegic and organisational development to applied research for numerous domestic and international enterprises and administrations. He is a member of a number of technical, professional and evaluation committees.
