Renato Galluzzi was born in Mexico City, Mexico, in 1986. He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in mechatronics from Politecnico di Torino, Italy, in 2010 and 2014, respectively. Since 2011, he has been an active collaborator with the Mechatronics Laboratory, Politecnico di Torino. He is currently a Research Professor with the School of Engineering and Sciences, Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico. He also holds the inventorship of multiple international patents. He is the author of numerous journal publications and conference papers. His research interests include vibration control and damping systems, power actuators, electric machinery, and energy harvesting.
