Dr. Elvira Kovač-Andrić is an associate professor at the Department of Chemistry, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek. She received her PhD in Natural Sciences (Chemistry) in 2010. Her research focuses on atmospheric and environmental chemistry, especially air pollutants, ozone and volatile organic compounds, as well as on green synthesis of nanomaterials. She is the author of peer-reviewed publications in international journals, including studies on the prediction of surface ozone concentrations using neural network models and sustainable approaches to the synthesis of nanomaterials. She has actively participated in national and bilateral projects and is a co-author of chemistry textbooks. She is a member of the Croatian Chemical Society and actively promotes science through conferences and workshops.
