Prof. Dr. Nan-Fu Chiu is a Professor at the Laboratory of Nano-Photonics and Biosensors, Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering, National Taiwan Normal University, Taipei, Taiwan. He received his Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan in 2002 and 2008. In addition, he was a post-doctoral research fellow at the Graduate Institute of Biomedical Electronics and Bioinformatics (BEBI), National Taiwan University from 2008–2009 and carried out a research visit to the National Institute for Nanotechnology, National Research Council of Canada (NRC-NINT) at the University of Alberta from 2009–2010. He was the director of the Taiwan Association of Chemical Sensors (ACST) from 2018–2024 and The director of the Taiwan Industrial Technology Association (TITA) from 2021–2023. He was awarded the Outstanding Young Scholar Award from ACST and the Reward for Special Talents Award from NTNU from 2017 to 2024, the Excellent Young Researcher Award Project from the Ministry of Science and Technology from 2020 to 2023 and the honor of World’s Top 2% Scientists 2022 (2022 Scientific Impact Ranking).

Prof. Dr. Nan-Fu Chiu is a Professor at the Laboratory of Nano-Photonics and Biosensors, Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering, National Taiwan Normal University, Taipei, Taiwan.
