Marco Giovanni Mariani completed his Ph.D. studies in Psychology at the University of Bologna, Italy. From 2004 to 2019, he served as a Researcher at the University of Bologna, where he obtained the Associate Professor position at the Department of Psychology in 2019. Over the years, he has been a member of the Councils of a PhD program in Psychology at the University of Bologna and the University of Parma. He is a member of the European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology and the Italian Association of Psychology (AIP). His research interests are human resource management; work psychology; and personnel psychology.
