Prof. Alessandro Bianchini is an Associate Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Florence, Italy. He received his Master’s Degree in Energy Engineering in 2007 and his Ph.D. in “Energy Engineering and Innovative Industrial Technologies” from the University of Florence in 2011. His main research areas are aerodynamics (experimental and numerical), wind energy, wind turbine design, centrifugal compressor design and analysis, renewables, and hybrid energy systems.
