Dr. Piwu Wang

Piwu Wang is a professor and Dean of the College of Agriculture at Jilin Agricultural University. He was a senior visiting scholar at the College of Agriculture at the University of Kentucky in 1996. He is the director of the Chinese Society of Crop Science and the Chinese Society of Genetics and a standing member of the Jilin Province Crop Variety Approval Committee. In 2014, he was named a senior expert in Jilin Province by the Jilin Provincial People’s Government. His research interest is crop molecular breeding.
