Bachelor of Physics from the Federal University of São João del-Rei (UFSJ), Master of Physics and Applied Mathematics in Astrophysics from the Federal University of Itajubá (UNIFEI), and Doctor of Materials Science for Engineering from UNIFEI. Coordinator of the Physics Teaching program at UNIFEI. He conducts research in the preparation and electrical and optical characterization of semiconductor devices, with a focus on energy generation. He also conducts research in Physics education in partnership with University College London (UCL) and the UNIFEI PET Connection of Knowledge program.
