Yan Shi Wang received a B.Sc. degree in Biochemistry from Xiamen University in 1995, an M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1998, and a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Xiamen University in 2006. She was a Research Scholar at Vanderbilt University from 2009 to 2010. Since 2007, she has been an Associate Professor in the School of Life Sciences at Xiamen University. Her research interests mainly focus on enzymology, including the structure and function of enzymes, kinetics of enzymes, and regulation mechanisms of enzymatic activity, and enzyme inhibitor research.
