Dr. Liliana Filipa Vale Costa

Liliana Vale Costa is an Equivalent to Assistant Researcher ('Equiparado a Investigador Auxiliar') at the DigiMedia Research Center in the Department of Communication and Art at the University of Aveiro. Since 2018, she has also been teaching at the University of Aveiro in the areas of Editorial Media and Game Design. She completed her European Ph.D. in Information and Communication in Digital Platforms at the University of Aveiro and the University of Porto (with an internship at the Disruptive Media Learning Lab, Coventry University) in 2017/12/20; a Master's degree in Multimedia Communication in 2013/07/22, and a degree in New Technologies of Communication in 2011/07/20, both at the University of Aveiro. Her research interests lie in Digital Games, eHealth, Gerontechnology, Digital Wellbeing, User Experience, CoDesign, and Media Psychology.
