Zhanyang Chen is an Associate Professor at the
Department of Ocean Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology at Weihai,
Weihai, China. He received his Master’s (2009) and Ph.D. (2013) in design
and manufacture of ships and marine structures from Harbin Engineering
University. He is a member of the 9th Council of the Offshore Steel Structure
Branch of China Steel Structure Association and a member of the Vibration and
Noise Group of the 11th Chinese Society of Naval Architecture and Ship Mechanics
Academic Committee. He won first prize and second prize in provincial
teaching achievement awards.
