Dr. Peng Chen is a Professor of Pharmacy at Lanzhou University in China. He earned his doctorate in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Lanzhou University in China in 2011. As a Visiting Research Scientist in the Department of Pathology, Yale University (2017–2018). His research focuses specifically on the human gut microbiota and its relationship to health and disease. This basic research has led to the identification of natural products with potential practical applications in drug discovery and development.
