Mohamed Boutinguiza Larosi received his Ph.D in Applied Physics from the University of Vigo, Spain (2001), and he is currently an associate professor at the School of Engineering (University of Vigo). His research is focused on laser synthesis and the processing of nanomaterials, the production and deposition of nanoparticles by laser ablation in different media, photocatalysis, plasmonic nanostructures, and biomaterials. He was listed in the World Top 2% Scientist classification released by PlosBiology in 2019 and 2020. He has published more than 100 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and co-authored several patents and book chapters.
