Mauricio David Perez received an engineering degree in electronics from the National Technological University (UTN), Argentina, in 2007, and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 2012. He has worked as an Industrial Researcher in Italy, from 2012 to 2014, and as an Academic Teacher and a Researcher with UTN, from 2014 to 2017. He is currently a Teacher and a Researcher with the Ångström Laboratories, Microwaves in Medical Engineering Group (MMG), Uppsala University, Sweden. His research interests include modeling and data-driven validation of microwave sensors for biomedical applications.
