Dr. Adrián Velázquez-Campoy is Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular and Cell Biology, and a senior researcher at the Institute of Biocomputation and Physics of Complex Systems (BIFI) at the University of Zaragoza. He received his BSc and PhD in Physics from Universidad de Granada in 1992 and 1998, respectively. From 1998 to 2001, he was Postdoctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins University. From 2001 to 2003, he was Associate Research Scientist at Johns Hopkins University. From 2003 to 2008, he was Ramon y Cajal Researcher at the Universidad de Zaragoza. From 2008 to 2021, he was Senior Researcher at the ARAID Foundation. From 2021 to 2024 he was Associate Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular and Cell Biology in the University of Zaragoza. His research interests include biophysics, protein folding and stability, protein interactions, drug discovery, and experimental molecular screening.
