Yupeng Yuan is an Associate Professor at the School of Transportation and Logistics Engineering, Wuhan University of Technology. At the Wuhan University of Technology, he earned his Bachelor’s in Thermal and Power Engineering, Master’s in Ship and Marine Environment Protection, and Ph.D. in Turbine Engineering, in 2005, 2008, and 2012, respectively. He also completed his Postdoctoral research in Transportation Engineering at the same university from 2013 to 2015. He served as a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge, from 2017 to 2018. His main research areas include New Energy and Energy Efficiency Control for Ships (New Energy Power System Design, Control and Safety) and Waterway Transportation Equipment and Energy Integration.
