Prof. Dr. Isidora Milosavljevic is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Kragujevac. Her research focuses on the effects of plant extracts and bioactive compounds in various animal models, with a particular emphasis on the cardiovascular system and metabolic disorders. She also investigates the protective effects of natural and synthetic substances against cardiotoxicity induced by drugs and evaluates the efficacy of registered herbal preparations in diverse human populations. Dr. Milosavljevic has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals and has participated in several national and international research projects. She is currently involved in COST Action EU-METAHEART and the China–Serbia MULTICULTY project, and has previously contributed to other collaborative studies in the field of cardiovascular and metabolic research. She has also actively contributed to the organization of international congresses and symposia in cardiovascular and physiological sciences.
