Dr. Kai Guo received his B.S. degree in applied physics and his Ph.D. degree in physics from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2010 and 2015, respectively. From 2015 to 2016 and from 2016 to 2017, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Sungkyunkwan University, Suwon, Republic of Korea, and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, China, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Hefei University of Technology, Hefei, China. His research interests include theoretical surface plasmonics, orbital angular momentum (OAM) antennae, OAM communication, light manipulation with metamaterials and metasurfaces, and nonlinear optics.
