Prof. Bechara Taouk received his doctorate from Lille 1 University of Science and Technology in 1988. He took positions as an assistant professor at the University of Technology of Compiègne from 1989 to 2009 and as head of the Laboratory of Chemical Process Safety (LSPC) at INSA Rouen Normandie from 2009 to 2021. He is currently a professor at INSA Rouen Normandie. His research keywords include catalytic deoxygenation; green chemistry technology; pyrolysis; gasification; and heterogeneous catalysis.
