Prof. Riccardo Caponetto

Riccardo Caponetto was born in Catania (Italy) in 1966. He received an electronic engineering degree from the University of Catania in 1991 and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering in 1995. He worked from 1994 to 2001 at STMicroelectronics as a researcher. From 01/10/2001 until 09/01/2023, he worked at the University of Catania, Italy, D.I.E.E.I. Today, he is Associate Professor at the Engineering Department of the University of Messina, Italy. His interests include systems modelling and control, fractional order systems and soft computing techniques.
