Prof. Dr. Joel de Jesus is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Coimbra. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Coimbra Faculty of Science and Technology. His work has focused on the study of fatigue crack growth, High cycle fatigue, Low cycle fatigue, fracture, crack growth in corrosive environments, and some static properties and metallographic studies of metallic materials.
