Prof. Dr. Hoang Pham is a distinguished professor at Rutgers University, Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, New Jersey, USA. Before joining Rutgers, he was a Senior Engineering Specialist with the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory and the Boeing Company, Seattle. He has published over 210 journal articles and seven books and has edited 20 books. His numerous awards include the 2009 IEEE Reliability Society Engineer of the Year Award. He is a Fellow of the IEEE, AAIA, and IISE. His research interests include reliability modeling, statistical inference, and modeling of the human immune system.
